Short section of lanyard is easily removed or installed. To remove the lanyard from the flashlight use a toothpick or bent paperclip to fish the stainless steel roll pin out of its tail cap compartment and remove it from the lanyard loop. Then pull the lanyard from the flashlight. Be sure to save the stainless steel roll pin in a safe place for reuse. When re-installing the lanyard, always be sure that the end of the lanyard with a short six (6) inch piece between breakaway points is placed in the lanyard attachment point with the roll pin so that the breakaway function can work. | |

Breakaway lanyard: An adjustable removable cord lock is installed on the lanyard. By squeezing the small ends of the cord lock, it may be moved to any desired location on the lanyard. It can be removed by squeezing the small ends until a click is heard and then sliding it off. To reinstall, slide it to the desired location and squeeze the two ears by the non-moving small end. It will snap into operation. |
